Get Your Ops Together ("GYOT," "Operations Resort," "we," "us," or "our") is an operations business based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit getyouropstogether.co (the "Site"), take the Baggage Check, join our email list, buy an offer, or work with us, and how we use, share, and protect that information.

This policy covers your personal information only. The rules for using the Site and buying from us are set out separately in our Terms of Use, which also includes our Cookie Policy (section 20).

By using the Site or our services, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

01Information we collect

Information you give us directly

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, business name, website, and social media handles.
  • Baggage Check and assessment responses: your answers to the Baggage Check, the Founder Load Index, and any other self-assessments, including information about your business, team, clients, workload, and how you are feeling about your workload.
  • Purchase and billing details: billing name, billing address, and payment information. Card details are processed by our payment providers and are never stored on our servers.
  • Application, intake, and onboarding information: answers to discovery questionnaires, onboarding forms, contracts, and strategy session prep (such as annual planning submissions).
  • Communications: emails, direct messages, Slack messages, community posts, and anything else you send us.
  • Call recordings and notes: discovery calls, strategy sessions, coaching calls, and client meetings may be recorded and transcribed so we can deliver your service accurately. We will tell you at the start of a call when it is being recorded.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, and the site that referred you.
  • Email engagement data: whether you opened an email or clicked a link inside it.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see the Cookie Policy in section 20 of our Terms of Use.

Information from third parties

  • Payment confirmations from our checkout and payment providers.
  • Information from scheduling tools when you book a call.
  • Basic profile information if you interact with us through social media platforms or advertising.

02How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Deliver your Baggage Check results and Burnout Report.
  • Send the emails you signed up for, including Postcards from the Front Desk and any welcome or nurture sequence.
  • Process payments, manage payment plans, and send receipts and invoices.
  • Deliver our programs, experiences, and done-for-you services, including onboarding you into our community, project management, and communication tools.
  • Schedule and run calls, and prepare notes, plans, and action items from them.
  • Respond to your questions and support requests.
  • Improve the Site, our content, and our offers.
  • Run and measure advertising, including showing our ads to people who have visited the Site.
  • Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

03Legal basis for processing

Where data protection law requires a legal basis (including, for visitors in the UK or European Economic Area, the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), we rely on:

  • Consent, for example when you join our email list or accept non-essential cookies.
  • Contract, when we need your information to deliver something you bought or agreed to.
  • Legitimate interests, such as improving our services, keeping the Site secure, and understanding how people use our content, where those interests are not outweighed by your rights.
  • Legal obligation, such as keeping financial records.

You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that already happened.

04Email marketing

When you take the Baggage Check, download a free resource, or sign up for Postcards from the Front Desk, you are joining our email list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Some of our sales emails also include a link to opt out of a specific launch or promotion while staying on the main list.

05Who we share your information with

We share information only with service providers who help us run the business, and only as much as they need to do their job. These include providers for:

  • Website hosting and site building
  • Email marketing
  • Checkout, payment processing, and invoicing
  • Contracts, proposals, and client management
  • Online community and course hosting
  • Scheduling and video calls
  • Call recording and transcription
  • Project management, databases, and team communication
  • Analytics and advertising (such as Meta)
  • AI-assisted tools used to draft, summarize, or organize work on our behalf

We may also share information with our contractors and team members who work on your account, all of whom are bound by confidentiality obligations; with professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers; when required by law, court order, or government request; and if the business is sold, merged, or restructured, in which case your information may transfer to the new owner under the same protections.

06International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers are based in the United States and other countries. If you live outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, and possibly other countries, where data protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the providers' standard contractual clauses) to protect it.

07How long we keep your information

  • Email list data: until you unsubscribe, plus a short period to make sure the unsubscribe is honored.
  • Client and program records: for the length of our working relationship and up to 7 years afterward for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
  • Call recordings and transcripts: for the length of the engagement and up to 12 months afterward, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Website analytics: according to the retention settings of our analytics providers.

08How we protect your information

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls, password-protected accounts, and limiting access to the people who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Ask us to delete your information.
  • Object to or restrict how we use your information.
  • Ask us to transfer your information to another provider.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
